We will be at the Sports Fair (4/10 at the University Sports Centre) and at the Freshers’ Fair (5/10, 6/10 on Parker’s Piece) answering questions about the coming year and encouraging more people to join the club. Come along and say hi – you may get a chocolate.
Our first two sessions of the year will be taster sessions, primarily for those new to the club. On Tuesday 5 October, our evening session (8pm) will be an advanced taster; Sunday 10 October (3:30pm) will be a beginner taster, aimed at those new to the sport.
If you are an existing member, please do come along! We’d particularly like your help at the beginner session, to help them try some basic drills and then give a demonstration of some more interesting combinations.
For the beginner taster session on Sunday, we will have a walking bus going from King’s college, so don’t worry if you’ve never been to west Cambridge before. We’ll assemble in front of King’s from 14:45 and leave at 14:55.
